Cider Presses
|
The right selection of press is very important, too small a press makes it hard work and too large a press can prove to be uneconomical. Cider Quantity Guide: As a guide to how much cider can be produced, a smallish bush tree will produce approximately 100lbs of apples and a large standard tree - the sort you can walk under - about 500lbs. On average you will need 20 - 25lbs of apples to produce one gallon of cider. |
