Coarse Grade pads fit the Buon Vino Mini Jet Filter & are mainly used for heavy wines.
These pads will not display significant changes in the wine & can be used to collect and/or break down large particles. They can be used to filter the wines before aging and for heavy bodied dessert wines such as Port, Ice Wine & Sherry.
Polishing Grade pads fit the Buon Vino Mini Jet Filter & are finer than the Course ones.
They are used for the brightening and polishing of wine with resultant noticable clarity and brightness.
These are the most commonly used pads and will work for practically all wine filtering applications. They should help turn your wine from clear to crystal clear
Sterile Grade pads fit the Buon Vino Mini Jet Filter & will further enhance your wine.
These are recommended for use after the wine has been first filtered with the fine Pads at least once to prevent excessive saturation of the filter due to sediment. They assist in the removal of up to 80% of the yeast in the wine.
